Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Martinez has been described as versatile, daring and insightful, and is establishing a reputation on both the national and international stage.

Making her orchestral debut at the age of 7, she has performed with many orchestras around the world, including San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, the Costa Rica National Symphony and Simon Bolivar Symphony in Venezuela.

Martinez is the First Prize Winner of the Rubinstein International Piano Competition and a Semifinalist at the Twelfth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, where she received the Jury Discretionary Award. Her performances have been featured on National Public Radio, ABC, 60 Minutes, CNN, PBS and other venues.
